Golf B'Day Card

Hello Fellow Bloggers

My husband came home from golf the other day and told me that we were invited to a surprise birthday party this weekend for one of his golf buddies.  So I've had a couple of days to come up with this card I created in MTC. All I knew is that I wanted it to have something to do with golf.   I used the Cuttlebug Big Bubbles embossing folder for the golf ball to give it dimention and I put it on pop dots. The base card is 6.50 x 4.50.  The sky and grass paper is from Michaels and the black paper is Colorbox from Walmart and the grey strips were in my stash. I used Spellbinder Nestabilities Labels #4 die for the sentiment that was computer generated.  Thanks for stopping by today. As always comments are read and appreciated.

Roo Wants to be the Easter Bunny

Roo is at it again.  He hopped at the chance to be on my first Easter card.  He was so excited that he had to have a complete makeover.  He now has new arms and paws that have nails.  Before I know it he'll want to have a manicure every week. LOL. He hopped right into his bunny ears and even put on a cotton tail for his photo shoot. Roo was created in MTC.  His Easter outfit, basket, bow and eggs were also created in MTC. His cute face was stamped with Peachy Keen Critter set.   I used Spellbinders label 8 dies for the layers and sentiment and used the negative layer on the inside of the card. Roo was popped up with dots and I used TH distress tea die ink around the edges of Roo and the sentiment.  The base of the card is 4.50 x 6.50 and was embossed with the cuttlebug embossing folder large bubbles and I used my go to favorite Swiss Dots embossing folder on both the inside and outside yellow layers. The paper was from Recollections Easter Cardstock I picked up at Michaels and the yellow cs is from Pastel Colorbox pak from Walmart. Here are some pictures of Roo's before and after as well as the finished card.  As always all comments are read and appreciated. Follow me and I'll come visit you too. Thanks for stopping by today.

I wanted to use my new cuttlebug honeycomb embossing set folder and I came up with this birthday card.  I really like the way it turned out.  I used the Cricut Create A Critter for the bee and I added googly eyes.  I used punches for the scallop circle shapes.  I also used Cuttlebug swiss dots for the yellow scallop circle.  The embossed boarder also came with the honeycomb folder. The sentiment label was a Spellbinders scallop oval die, and the sentiment was computer generated. Follow me and I'll come visit you too. Comments are always read and appreciated. Clouds this Morning in Fl.

7:30am Florida West Coast March 10, 2013
With the time change came some beautiful but strange clouds here on the Florida west coast.  I took the picture around 7:30am this morning. The sky looked like the ripples in the sand when the tide is out.
This in NOT SNOW! it's CLOUDS

Hello All,
I volunteer for Florida Boxer Rescue  and we are attending the Florida Home Show, at the Fairgrounds on March 16th for the annual adoption program they have for different dog rescues.  We will plan to have some foster boxers that are ready for their fur ever home.  So if your interested and are in the neighborhood and would like to adopt one of our boxers go to and fill out an application. We are also having a Bowling for Boxers event on June 23.  I'll have more information as we get closer to the date.
Anyhoo, I was asked if I could make some cards for the events coming up.  I made up 10 sets of cards.  They are note popup cards.  I created the boxers & the popup boxers in MTC.  The card base is from DCWV.  I used Spellbinders label#8 die on some of the cards to place the boxers on.  I also used the Cuttlebug embossing folders baby breath, swiss dots and polka dots on some of the labels.  The sentiment Just a note... was stamped with CardzTV "Simply Said" set. Thanks for stopping by. As always comments are appreciated.
