Batty for Halloween

Hello my crafty friends,
Here is my card for the challenge over at Artistic. The image is from Rick St Dennis I used Cuttlebug haunted house embossing folder on the base card. I add use Chameleon yellow marker on the moon but it didn't show up well on the black paper. I then added some Stickles Diamonds to it and that brought out the gold sparkle. I also used Spectrum Noir florescent yellow for her eyes and Stickle Diamonds for her wings. Be sure to stop by and see what the talented DT has for your Halloween inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.

Welcome Fall weather.

Hello my crafty friends,
I'm running late posting today. Seems my mojo has run off and left me behind. LOL.  This project is totally digital today. It is for the challenge over at Pins. Be sure to stop by and see what the talented DT has for your fall inspiration and enter the challenge for a chance to win some digital images.  The sentiment and image is from DeeDee Digi's .  Living in the south with it's 88-90 degrees makes it hard to think the fall season has started.  I like the way this card looks with the fall colors. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Stay tuned as hopefully my mojo will come back I have plans for another 3D project coming soon. Have a happy crafty day.

Fall is coming

Hello my crafty friends,
Today's card is for the challenge over at Give a crafter a cookie. Be sure to stop by for more fall inspiration by our talented DT. The children images are from Stitchy Bear Stamps. I used the Silhouette Cameo to print and cut them as well as the leaves on the bottom to add more dimension. The sentiment is a stamp from a Stampedious set in my stash. I used the tree embossing folder by Darice and colored it with my Chameleon markers. When you open the card the debossed side of the tree is also colored because the markers bleed through the paper. It was a pleasant surprise effect and I may do that again "on purpose" for another project.  Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. Follow me along as I will be attempting a foiling project soon.

Back to school IPad

Hello my crafty friends,
Here is another lunchbox note card for the tech. kid with the Ipad. I remember when we had to lug around what seemed like a 50 pounds of books to class... Now it's an Ipad or laptop. And they have the new wrist watch too. Do any of you remember the Dick Tracy comics when he had the wrist watch.  LOL here I go dating myself. This is for the challenge over at Creative Moments. Be sure to stop by and join the challenge for a chance to win some digital images.  The talented DT will have projects to inspire your creativity.  For the background of this project I used Scrapbook Max program. This is my favorite program for creating digital backgrounds. The girl image is from our sponsor All Dressed Up. I had to add some bling to the girls hair bow.  Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.

3D Picture Frame

Hello my crafty friends,
Today's project if for the challenges over at Pins and DTC. The image is from Lil Blue Stamps. I was pleased with the way the frame has a 3D layered effect and it does have a stand you attach to the back that will hold it up. The frame pattern is from My Scrap Chick. I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut the card and print the image. I used Studio G blue ink to edge the frames and then used a dauber to cover the front. The stand on the back will lie flat for mailing. I colored the image with Chameleon markers. Stop by and join in the challenge for a chance to win digital images. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.

Wedding Invitation Set

Hello my crafty friends,
Here is the completed set of the wedding invitations, favor boxes and RSVP cards and envelopes. I made for my friend's wedding.   I used the cuttlebug swirl embossing folder on the bride and groom favor boxes see video here. and on the envelop flaps of the invitations and RSVP reply envelopes. I used a small heart punch on glitter purple paper for the invitation and inner envelop of the RSVP card. I was glad to say that the envelopes and cards survived their postal journeys.  Thanks for sharing this creative journey with me. Please subscribe to my YouTube channel here for more video's and follow me along here for more 3D designs. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.

Fluttering by to say Hi.

Hello my crafty friends,
Working on keeping up with my challenges. For today's challenge over at Give a crafter a cookie. I used my new We R Memories butterfly embossing folder. I have both the Big Shot and the Cuttlebug.  I couldn't get the folder to work right with my Cuttlebug. It is a large embossing folder.  The Big Shot did a good job and it was a bit tight with folded cardstock. It makes a crisp line and as you may be able to see some white on the blue butterflies on the background.  The image today is from our sponsor All Dressed Up.  I used both my Spectrum Noir markers and Chameleon markers. I also used some new Ice Stickles by Ranger for the wings and skirt bottom for some bling. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. If you have not already seen my videos for the wedding favor boxes, you can find them Here. Please subscribe to my channel I will be making more video's through the year.   You can also follow me here for the next 3D wedding project I have on my to do list. My friend is getting married next month so I have to get moving.  Again, thanks for your comments, they are my inspiration to continue on this creative journey.  Have a happy crafty day.
