Summer Dreams Dry Embossing Challenge

Hello my crafty friends,
Here is my project for the wet/dry embossing challenge over at Creative Moments. My mojo has been in a slump lately, but I'm happy with the way this turned out. I used Darice clouds embossing folder and the Cricut bubbles folder for the sand. The water background is from Scrapbook Max program. I used both Spectrum Noir and Chameleon markers.  The kids image is from our sponsor A Day for Daisies. I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut and print them. The beach scene is layered over the water/embossed cloud background. The kids heads are on pop dots. It really looks good in person with the embossing. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.

3D Plane for Bday friend

Hello my crafty friends,
I made a tube plane for my friends 50th Bday. I used Skittles candy in the tube. I've entered this in the challenge for Decorated to Celebrate. Be sure to stop by and see what other creative ideas the talented DT has for your inspiration. The pattern for the plane is from SVG Cutting. I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut it. I used basic black paper for the base and then used birthday paper from DCWV Stack 3.  I also had some hologram paper in my stash I used for the propeller and the wheels for some bling. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.

There are some changes going on there with designs and a few new DT members.  Stop over and enter the challenge for a chance to win some images from our sponsor and see what our talented DT has for your inspiration today.  I had a friend who just turned 50 yesterday. We were celebrating his birthday party out at the beach. Weather was sunny and hot. Be sure to stop by and see the 3D project I made for him and the DT challenge for June 24th. I used chameleon and Spectrum noir markers to color the owl. For bling I added Stickles diamonds to the owl and number.  I embossed the number with Cuttlebug swiss dots folder and put it on pop dots to add depth. 3D project for a birthday or Father's day

Hello my crafty friends,
I'm playing catch up again with my DT challenges. My hubby likes to play golf so this project is great for either his birthday or for father's day.  I decided to go with a Birthday project. The pattern  is from Creations by AR and it is for the challenge over at Give a Crafter a cookie.  Be sure to stop by and see what the talented DT has for your creative inspiration. The theme is for ice cream or ATG. I was thinking of making this an ice cream truck design, but alas, it didn't work out that way.  I may still do that and I will post later.  I cut and printed the project with the Silhouette Cameo. Surprised, no Spectrum noir markers. LOL. I used some small brads I had in my stash for the wheels. and I inked the edges of the sentiment with Tea dye distress ink. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.
