Blue Suede Shoe

Hello Followers,
Today image comes from Beccy's Place.  For some reason I was thinking blue suede shoe.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers I know your not surprised, This is before I rec'd the DVD and new marker set. LOL I used a clear glitter gel pen for the flower.  I used the cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder and Spellbinders  Lacey circle die.  The daisy boarder is an EKS punch.  I have another card that I have made before the new markers arrived, but sorry, I can't reveal it before the next {Pin}spirational challenge.  I will be offline next Wednesday for a week. We have family coming to visit so I don't think I'll have much computer time. I will try to check in, as you all know I love to read your comments.   Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Cupcake

Hello friends,
Here is the card I created for the Spark your Creativity Design Team. The image is from Limited Runs. I used my new Silhouette Cameo to print and cut the butterflies.  The polka dot paper was from Michael's  bargain bin. The inside sentiment is a rubberstamp from Stampedious. I used Spectrum markers to color the cupcake.  Did I mention how much I like these markers?  I received my new set of markers (bright set) today, along with the DVD.  Hopefully, my coloring will improve.  I'm new to using alcohol markers.  I have 5 Copic markers, but never really got the hang of it or could afford to purchase too many more.  What I like about the Spectrum Noir Markers is they are affordable, refillable and fun to use.  I'm not affiliated with Crafters Companion or any other company. I'm  sharing my opinion and findings as I learn to use them. They are very juicy and blend well. I started my collection when I found them at JoAnn's Fabric.  They are $14.99 for a set of 6 markers. And of course I used my 40 percent coupon.  You can also find them online for a lot less.  Stay tuned or follow me, as I'm sure you will be seeing more of my projects using these markers.  Let me know you stopped by so I can come visit you too.

May 28 {pin}spirational Challenge Tiger Cubs

Welcome back fellow bloggers!

For today's {Pin}spirational Challenge our image comes from Meljens Designs . These cute little cubs remind me of my brothers when they were young and rough housing around.  As, from previous posts you may have noticed I've started to use Spectrum Noir markers. This card was my first creation using them. I wanted to make sure all my design team entries were done on time. Then I got ahead of myself when I saw this image and just had to use my new Spectrum Noir markers.  After this card I made my .Pink Flower Scallop Card I was more confident in using the markers after watching a few videos on YouTube.  I used Spellbinder #8 die  for the mats. The gold paper was from Colorbox Lite Brights 6x6 paper pack  The green mat layer and buttons I had in my stash. The base card is an A2 size card.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Girls just want to have fun!

Why can't footballs be pink? LOL.  The challenge #58  this week at {Pin}spirational Challenge was sponsered by The Cutting CafĂ©  Both my daugter inlaws are advid football fans with different teams. So when their teams are playing they are louder then the boys at cheering. LOL.
I used cuttlebug embossing folder big dots for the pink layer. Base card is white 71/4"x8" and Reflections daisy punch, Stampin up tag punch for the sentiment that was computer generated and layered on foam tape. I used Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink around the label and lightly over the embossed dots.

So, in honor of the girls I made this card. As always thanks for stopping by. Comments are appreciated.

Adopt A Pet Save A Life

hello all,
I volunteer for .Florida Boxer Rescue Although, these images do not have a boxer the sentiment is universal for all breeds.   Here is the next {Pin}spirational challenge #56  The images and the sponsor this week is Flat Friends. I used craft brown for the base 5x7 then layered with a forest green sheet that I embossed with the Cuttlebug big dots folder. The mats were cut with Spellbinder dies and the paper was from Recollection Basics Pad. The flowers were from my stash and I used a silver brad in the center. The sentiment was computer generated and mounted on pop dots. I used both copic and Bic sharpies to color the images.  I look forward to reading your comments. Thanks for following Kitts World.

Spectrum Noir Markers

Hello Everyone,
I have just acquired a few of the Spectrum Noir Markers from Crafters Companion.  I bought them over time from JoAnn's with my 40% off coupons.  I love these markers and they are easier on my pocketbook then the Copic markers.  I have 5 Copic markers and now have 6 sets of the 6 pack colors of the Spectrum Noir Markers.  This image was fun to color.  It is from Limited Runs who is the sponsor this week for the challenge at Pin and Tack and I just became a member of their Design team.   I'm still new to using alcohol markers and learning as I go about blending. But I did promise myself that I would be more active on my blog and join and participate in challenges.  For this card I used  a pink stripe paper from K Company  Designer paper pack. The scallop card was cut at 5.5 inches from the Cricut cartridge Birthday Bash page 38. The Spectrum markers I used for the flowers were PL1,PL2,CG1,CG2 and the yellow was Y08 copic marker. You can guess my next color of the Noir Markers will be the yellow set. LOL.  I inked around the image mat that was a Spellbinders Scallop die cut with Dew Drop Brilliance Pearlecent Orchid and mounted on pop dots and attached it to a white doily then layered it on the card with a lavender color bow from my stash. this card came out so pretty I'm sending mom another mother's day card. Comments are always appreciated and read. Follow me as I learn and share my crafting adventures.

I used Cuttlebug embossing folder wedding bliss on the base of the card and layered it with the doily and bear image.  The label was a stampin up punch and sentiment was from CARDZ TV Simply Said set.  Thanks for stopping by today. No Electricity. I made a card anyway.

Hello Bloggers,
This morning we lost electricity just as I was thinking it's time to get to my own creative projects.  I had planned on making a Mother's Day card when the lights went out.  Well make lemon aide out of lemons as the saying goes.  I can still make a card without using my many electrical tools. LOL.  I used my Cuttlebug embossing folder Julie's Garden on the card base and the white layer which was cut with Spellbinders scallop die. I inked over the base card with Memento Summer Blue ink. I layered the card with a white doily that I also inked over with Memento Danube Blue ink. The blue rose was from Michaels budget bin.  The inside of the card was layered with spellbinders dies and I embossed the blue paper with the Cuttlebug daisy folder. The butterfly was from a bag of confetti that I had in my stash.  I love to read your comments. Thanks for stopping by. I entered this card in the following challenges:
