Enjoying the summer in Margaritaville.

Hello my crafty friends,
Are you enjoying your summer so far?  Have you been on vacation or need one? LOL I used two images today for the challenge over at Pinspirational Challenges.  Be sure to stop over and see what the talented DT has for you inspiration and join in the challenge for a chance to win digital images.  The first image is from Penny Blossom. I used Spectrum Noir markers to color both images.  I used the Silhouette Cameo to print and cut both sentiments and the cards.

The second image is one cool cat looking through rose color glasses from Inky Impressions.

The background is digital paper that I thought went well with these images. I used the Silhouette Cameo to layer and print the sentiment and cut the card. I left the cat white so it would pop as the focal point of the card.I thought rose color glasses would work too.  Thanks for stopping by today and taking the time to leave your kind comments.  Have a happy crafty day.

Truck Shape Bday Card

Hello my crafty friends,
Today is my friends birthday and he is a truck driver. I used my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut this card. I purchased SD#61794  and made it into this card. I had to get this card done today and didn't have time to make an envelop for it. But I did size it to fit in a standard size 10 envelop. I stamped the envelop and the inside of the card with a stamp from Posh Impressions. I had already sealed the envelop when I realized I forgot to take a picture of the inside. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I look forward to reading them. Have a happy crafty day.

A new Design Team for me.

Hello my crafty friends,
I had enjoyed being on the DT at Craftitude Challenges since last October. Unfortunately, they had to close their challenge blog.  As they say one door closes and another one opens. I've been invited to join the DT over at A Song in your HeArt. I'm looking forward to working with the talented new team.   The idea is to use the theme song or words to create your project.  Hop on over and see what a new and interesting idea this is and join the fun. Enter the challenge for a chance to win some free images from our wonderful sponsors. The image I used is from Aurora Wings. I started by adding a blue star to the image.  Then I used my Spectrum Noir markers to finish coloring her and added Stickles diamonds to give it some bling.  I said in a previous post that I would be making some changes and this is a good start.  I invite you to follow me on this creative journey.  I have a feeling things are only going to get better.  Thanks for stopping by and have a happy crafty day!

Tea Party

Hello my crafty friends,

Have you had a tea party lately? Not something we do often here in the USA. This image from Robyns FetishR is for the challenge over at Artistic Inspirations. Take a look over there to see what the talented DT has for your inspiration. Here is my creation using buttons I made from pony beads. Can you believe it, not one Spectrum Noir marker or Stickles glue used. LOL.  I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut and print the teapot set.  I mounted it on pop dots for depth. I like the way the shadow shows under the spoon too.    Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments. I love reading them. Have a happy crafty day.

New Home Box Card

Hello my crafty friends,
My sister bought a new house and lives out of state. She is having a house warming which unfortunately I can't get too.   Have I told you how much I love my Silhouette Cameo lately? LOL. I purchased the  box card Silhouette Design ID #57263. It fit perfectly in an a2 size envelop and wasn't hard to make.  I created the "sold sign" not part of the design.  And a gift card fits nicely inside too. Don't be afraid to try a box card, it's fun to make. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you. Have a happy crafty day.

Update: Cameleon Alcohol Markers from 7 Kids College Fund

Hello my crafty friends,
You all know how much I love using my Spectrum Noir markers. Back in January I saw a video for Cameleon Alcohol markers at 7kidscollegefund.com/. They are less expensive then Spectrum Noir and I wanted to try them. They were on preorder and due to be in stock by April.   Well April came around and they moved the date to June.  Here we are now in July and still no markers due to manufactor delays.  They are still on Preorder prices if you want to take a chance and order them.  This is the longest I ever waited for a product. I sure hope it is worth the wait. Stay tuned and I'll let you know when they arrive. Thanks for listening.

UPDATE: Couldn't wait any longer, I cancelled the order today. Thank you 7 kids college fund for fast response and refund.

Cup Cake Friends

Hello my crafty friends,
Today's adorable image is from Crafts4eternity for the challenge over at Artistic Inspirations Challenge. I added some googly eyes from my stash to give her more character. And of course I had to add bling somewhere so I added it to the cupcakes with Stickles diamonds. The back ground was embossed with Cuttlebug Stars folder.  Both the image and the sentiment was mounted on pop dots and cut with the Silhouette Cameo.  And what kind of a project would it be if I didn't use my Spectrum Noir markers. LOL. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving your kind comments. I'm looking into moving my blog, follow me for updates.  Have a happy crafty day.

An Easel Bday Card

Hello my crafty friends,
Here is an easel Birthday Card for my friend Janet. We had a birthday party for her yesterday and she loved her card. I purchased the pattern at My Scrap Chick and cut it with the Silhouette Cameo. I used Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder, silver glitter paper for the tray and candle sticks. Of course I had to bling it up a little more and used Stickles Diamonds over the sentiment. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your wonderful comments. I love hearing from you.  Have a happy crafty day.

Belated Bday Card

Hello my crafty friends,
I hope you had a happy July 4th weekend.  I was busy getting ready for the weekend with a combination of 2 birthday parties and July 4th all rolled into one. Sadly to say the Craftitude Challenge blog has closed. But now I will be available to join another design team if they'll have me.  I love working with digital images and my Spectrum Noir markers.  Moving on, here is my creation for the challenge over at Artistic Inspirations Challenges.  The image is from Meljens Designs.com. I used the Darice embossing folder Cobblestones for the base card.  I print and cut the sentiment image with the Silhouette Cameo.  I printed and cut the turtle's shell twice.  I wanted it to have depth and put it on pop dots over the existing shell.  Of course I have to have some sparkle so I added Stickles Diamond to the shell and the turtles accessories. Popdots were also placed under the sentiment and the entire turtle for that 3D effect. I like the way the shadow shows under the turtle shell so it looks like he actually is wearing a shell.  Of cour I used my Spectrum Noir markers. I am waiting on a set of Chameleon markers to come in from 7 kids college fund. It was a pre-order from January, They were due in April then moved to June for shipping.  Yes, I'm still waiting. I'll let you know when I receive them and share my thoughts on them.  But since they are still not in you could take a chance and order them at the lower pre-order price and not wait as long. Without further ado, here is my card.
