Happy Easter

Hello my crafty friends.
Another Easter bunny. Have you got your egg dye? Today's image is from Robyns Fetish. I used my Spectrum Noir markers and the pearls, flower and mat paper is from my stash. The sentiment was stamped with memento black ink and is from My creative time stamp Easter stamp set.  I'm running late (hmm, does that remind you of another rabbit???) in posting. This card is for the challenge over at Craftitude Challenges. Be sure to hop over and see what the talented Design Team has for your last minute inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Easter.

MOTHER'S DAY BOX CARD

Hello my crafty friends,
I lost my mom in September and this will be our first Mother' day without her.  My mom loved roses. I'm going to send this card to my sister who was really close with my mom.  I purchased a box card #56149 from Silhouette . It folds flat and fits in an A2 envelop. I changed the inside elements to a rose bouquet that I found for free online. The layered mats were cut from Provo Craft paper pack I had in my stash for years. I used the my Silhouette Cameo to print and cut my mom's picture, rose bouquet and sentiment mat.  The flowers were from my stash. I believe I got them from JoAnn's Fabric.
Thanks for stopping by today and sharing this time and your comments with me. I love reading them. Have a wonderful crafty day.

Leader of the Pack

Hello my crafty friends,
I couldn't think of a better title for this amazing image from Aurora Wings . The challenge over at Artistic Inspirations was to create a monochromnic design.  This was my first attempt at monochromatic. I watched the TV series Vikings to see the colors they wear.  I believe I captured their look.  I also wanted to create a little more dimention and interest in the card so I used the Silhouette to print and cut out the frame that surrounds the image.  I put the frame on pop dots and placed it over the image.  I used Spectrum Noir markers and I used Stickles Diamonds to show the icy background.  I'm really pleased with the results of this card. Thank you for your comments and a warm welcome to my new followers. Let me know you stopped by so I can come visit you.  Have a happy crafting day.

In the dog house?

Hello my crafty friends,
Today's challenge at Craftitude Challenges is to use corrugated paper. I didn't have any, so I used craft paper and my crimper for the affect on this doghouse card.  Have I told you how much I love my Silhouette Cameo lately?  The doghouse is Silhouette file# 4533. I used the print and cut for the sentiment and accessories. The grass is also a Silhouette file #56521. Can you believe not a sparkle anywhere. LOL.  But I did use my Spectrum Noir markers on the "Get along little doggie" image from  Meljens Designs our sponsor today.  Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments. I love hearing from you.

A bad day of golf can make a man a troll

Hello my crafty friends.
Down to the wire here in posting this tag.  It is for the challenge over at Artistic Inspirations and it was to use Easter colors.  The image is from Scribble and Scrap and I had it colored in for a couple weeks, but didn't have a clue what to do with it. This image was definately a challenge for me.  My hubby plays golf and on a bad day of golf he can be in a monster of a mood later. LOL.   Anyway, I used my Spectrum Noir markers TB1,2,BT1,2,HB1,2,3,BG2,CT4 and of course Stickles Diamonds for sparkle and an action wobble to let him swing the golf club. LOL.  I used Silhouette Cameo to cut the image and print the tag and sentiment. I used Silhouette Tag Design ID #5360.
Thanks for stopping by today. I enjoy reading your kind comments that inspire me to continue on this creative journey.

Congrats

Hello my crafty friends.
The challenge over at Artisitic Inspirations is to use Easter colors. Be sure to stop by and see what the DT has for your Easter color inspiration. The image is from Scribble and Scrap. I rarely use ribbon because I just can't seem to get the bow right. But I decided to give it a go and get out of my comfort zone. I used Cuttlebug wedding bliss embossing folder for the base card and the mat and ribbon were from my stash. I stamped the sentiment and used the die from Stampin Up Circle thinlet set. The dragons were colored with Spectrum Noir markers and I used Stickle Diamonds for sparkle. The sentiment label and the dragons were mounted on popups for depth.
