Clouds this Morning in Fl.

With the time change came some beautiful but strange clouds here on the Florida west coast.  I took the picture around 7:30am this morning. The sky looked like the ripples in the sand when the tide is out.

BEAR LUCK OF THE IRISH

Here is a bear bringing smiles for St. Patty's Day. I made him from the Cricut Bear on Parade cartridge. He is also on an action wobble from Scrapbooking Queen at  http://www.action-wobbles.com/   I embossed his jacket with the cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder. The card is 5.50 x 4.25" embossed with the cuttlebug baby breath folder. The shamrock ribbon was actually a shoelace I found at Joann Fabric. The diecut and sentiment is from My Creative Time. http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ I used memento ink cottage ivy for the sentiment. I used a gel glitter pen for the pot of gold, tie, shoes, hatband and shamrock edge. The shamrock was cut at 1" from Cricut cartridge A Child's Year.

CARDS FOR FL BOXER RESCUE

Hello All,
I volunteer for Florida Boxer Rescue  and we are attending the Florida Home Show, at the Fairgrounds on March 16th for the annual adoption program they have for different dog rescues.  We will plan to have some foster boxers that are ready for their fur ever home.  So if your interested and are in the neighborhood and would like to adopt one of our boxers go to   http://www.facebook.com/Florida.Boxer.Rescue and fill out an application. We are also having a Bowling for Boxers event on June 23.  I'll have more information as we get closer to the date.
Anyhoo, I was asked if I could make some cards for the events coming up.  I made up 10 sets of cards.  They are note popup cards.  I created the boxers & the popup boxers in MTC.  The card base is from DCWV.  I used Spellbinders label#8 die on some of the cards to place the boxers on.  I also used the Cuttlebug embossing folders baby breath, swiss dots and polka dots on some of the labels.  The sentiment Just a note... was stamped with CardzTV "Simply Said" set. New Home Card

A friend of mine had just moved into their new home.  Here is the card I came up with.  I created the house in MTC.  I used Colorbox yellow paper and the brown paper Core Dimentions from Joann's Fabric, Swirls Cuddlebug embossing folder, Tim Holtz tea dye ink for edging the house and Spellbinders square label die for sentiment which was typed on the computer. The grass and tulips are from the Give A Hoot cartridge. And last but not least the bling I picked up at Michaels. Thanks so much to those of you who leave comments. I enjoy reading them. Are you feeling lucky, Irish that is??

Are you feeling lucky? Irish that is.  This cute little bear from the Bears on Parade cartridge shows we can all use a bit of luck.  And how lucky we are when we have more friends than our house can hold. (an old Irish saying).  The bear was cut at 2". I used the new year hat instead of the one they have for the Irish bear outfit. I used a stargel glitter pen to add sparkle to his hat, jacket & the pot of gold. The shamrocks were cut at 1" from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge. I used the swiss dots cuddlebug folder for the shamrocks and the green layer background paper. I cut the shamrock stripe paper (from Reflections All Seasons paper pack) with a Spellbinders label die. The bear and the shamrocks are on pop dots.  The sentiment was printed on the computer. This card was entered into the Cardz TV Challenge.

Roo Hops to another challenge!

Roo hops to another challenge over at the Pink Elephant for the Pink and red challenge http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/ and Crafty Cards Challenge at CardzTV for the critter valentine challenge.  I love the way Roo came about and being able to make my own action spring gizmo. LOL  I created Roo in MTC.  His face is a Peachy Keen PK754 Critter stamp set.  I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge for the guitar and the microphone. I also made the heart boarder in MTC. Kids Valentine Cards

Hello Friends,
I have entered another challenge over at Cardz TV.  You are to make 3 kids cards cut at 3".  I had so much fun I made a a skunk that came out so "stinking cute" LOL.  I used the cricut cartridges Birthday Bash for the square card which is really listed as a tag.  I used Create a Critter  1 for the cow and the skunk. I used Bears on Parade for the Bunny and Create a Critter 2 for the owl.  I used a banner die from Simon Sez for the sentiments which I typed and printed from the computer.
